Terms and Conditions

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS Confirmed reservations require a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 per person within 14-days of booking. Otherwise reservations will automatically be canceled. Final payment is due 60-days before departure. Reservation requests received within 30 days of departure are subject to availability. Documents will be sent 14-21 days prior to departure. Any changes to a confirmed reservation and any late bookings will be assessed a charge of $35 in-addition to full payment.
CANCELLATION All cancellations must be made in writing. The date of the cancellation shall be, the date that written notice is received by FOS Tours. For written cancellations received the following cancellation fees will also apply: 59 – 45 days, $100.00 per person; plus the airline ticket; 44 – 30 days prior to departure 75% of tour plus airline ticket; cost; 29 – day of departure or no-show, 100% of tour cost.  The group airline ticket is non-refundable at 59 days.  No refunds will be made on any unused services of the tour.
AIR FLIGHTS group flight booking are ticketed 59 days prior to departure, and once ticketed are non-refundable and non-transferable.
OPERATOR CANCELLATION Tour price quoted for the land program is based on a minimum of 50 passengers booking and traveling together on the tour.  FOS Tours & Travel reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure if a minimum of participants is not met or if any other circumstances so warrants. Should the minimum number of 30 tour members not be reached, the right is reserved to increase the tour cost accordingly.  Payment will be refunded, less any cancellation penalties incur by the airline and without further obligation on the part of the operator.
INSURANCE Travel insurance, such as trip and cancellation, lost baggage, health insurance for medical emergencies is strongly recommended in order to protect your travel plans. Insurance may be purchased directly through FOS Tours and registration forms will be provided upon receipt of your deposit.
TOUR DOCUMENTS AND TICKETS: Final tour documents are mailed, provided we have received full payment, within 2 weeks of departure. BAGGAGE: Alaska Airlines will charge $20.00 for a checked piece of luggage, weighing no more than 50 pounds.  FOS Tours & Travel, Inc is not liable for lost, damaged or stolen baggage.
HOTELS: Accommodations are based on double occupancy rooms with private facilities in first class hotels. A limited number of single rooms are available at the supplement quoted and should be requested at the time of booking.
NOT INCLUDED baggage fees, items of a personal nature, such as telephone calls, additional food or beverage items, room service, valet or laundry service, optional activities, meals or drinks not listed as included, tipping for personal service not part of the tour, end-of-tour gratuity to tour escorts, and any other items not mentioned as included.
RESPONSIBILITY FOS Tours & Travel, Inc., hereafter called the Company, acts only on behalf of hotels, airlines, its companies, railroads, steamship lines, its owners, operators or contractors (all herein called Contractors) providing services in connection with these tours, and all coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by Company are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms and conditions under which the foregoing or any such services are provided by Contractors. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not aboard their plane or conveyance. The passenger contract in use by airlines concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tours and/or the passengers. In the absence of negligence on Company’s part, it is not responsible for personal injury or property damage or loss arising out of the act or negligence of any direct air carrier, hotel or other person rendering any of the services or accommodations offered herein. The tour member agrees to the foregoing, and also agrees that the Company shall not be or become liable or responsible for any loss, injury or default of any person, firm, corporation or their entity engaged to supply the same. The Company accepts no responsibility for losses or expenses due to delays or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strikes, hotel over-bookings, social and labor unrest, war, terrorist activities, quarantine or any other causes, actions or omissions, or conditions over which it has no control. The Company reserves the right to withdraw a tour, or refuse to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour at any time, or to make changes in the itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, conditions warrant, or if such changes result from circumstances beyond the control of the Company, or if it deems necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of the passengers. The tour operator and contractors reserve the right to change the itinerary at any time. Traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases the Company from any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or entry requirements of each destination, and all safety and security conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel. The payment for reservations on any tour shall constitute consent to all provisions in the Terms and Conditions published herein.
